If you are hospitalized and want Dr. Penn to be your ID Specialist, tell your hospital physician and nurse. Otherwise the hospital may assign you another.
If you need help facilitating this, or if you are assigned another despite your request, call us at 402.934.6504. If you know you will be hospitalized, let us know, too. Know you have the right to choose your physicians, including your ID Specialist. You have a choice. Make it known.
For new patients in our office infusion center:
Referring physicians should call our office. We can usually arrange a weekday infusion if we know about the patient before 2 P.M.
For potential new office clinic patients:
We accept new office clinic patients by referral from other healthcare providers. If you believe you need an ID Specialist, ask your primary care provider if they think this is appropriate for your condition. If so, it is best if their office calls our office to discuss a possible referral.

All calls should go to our main number, 402.934.6504. During main office hours our Patient Care Coordinators can best expedite your call. We participate in all health insurance plans that Methodist Hospital participates in, as well as many other Nebraska and Iowa insurance plans.
We are located east of Methodist Hospital, and one block south of 82nd and West Dodge Road. Easy surface parking is available behind our building.
