Marge Maack, PA-C and Kim Taff, Travel Clinic Coordinator, attended the 12th Conference of the International Society of Travel Medicine (ISTM) this May 2011 in Boston, Massachusetts. This Conference is a milestone for the Society as it marks the 20th Anniversary of the ISTM. ISTM has now grown to over 2,500members in 75 countries and is the largest organization of professionals dedicated to the advancement of the specialty of travel medicine. Conferences are outstanding opportunities that occur only every 2 years for all the world's travel medicine practitioners to come together to share experiences, enjoy a collegial environment, and do a bit of traveling themselves.
